- About The Goods -

The Goods Market & Deli was created as an extension of Bella Luna’s kitchen and the spirit that built it—an invitation to slow down, gather, and enjoy the simple pleasures of good food. We wanted a place where our guests could take home the flavors and ingredients that inspire our restaurant: real Italian provisions, made and sourced with care, alongside the small, beautiful things that make a kitchen feel alive.

Our shelves are filled with the essentials that tell stories—olive oils pressed by hand, pastas shaped in the traditional bronze dies of Abruzzo, tinned fish from southern coasts, and pantry staples that bridge Italian and Italian-American cooking. The deli counter showcases our selection of imported and house-made meats, cheeses, and sandwiches crafted the way they’re meant to be—no shortcuts, no pretense, just honest, generous food.

But The Goods is more than a market. It’s a neighborhood space meant to bring people together—to talk, taste, and connect over the shared love of cooking and community. We work closely with local makers, farmers, and artists to offer a mix of the familiar and the unexpected, from fresh flowers and ceramics to seasonal ingredients and thoughtful gifts.

Our vision is to keep Italian tradition alive in a way that feels rooted in Merced: accessible, joyful, and made to last. Whether you’re grabbing lunch, stocking your pantry, or finding something special to share, The Goods exists to remind us that food—done right—has always been about belonging.
